Higher Self Studios was built on friendship —the kind rooted in honesty, depth, laughter, and a shared devotion to growth.
Again and again, we saw the same pattern: women carrying too much, caring deeply, and quietly questioning themselves while holding full, real lives together. Higher Self Studios was created as a response to that knowing — and a belief that when one woman reconnects with herself, the impact reaches far beyond her.
What began as conversations between two best friends about intuition, burnout, ambition, & self-trust revealed something bigger.

Emotionally, spiritually, and energetically — in a way that is grounded, practical, and lived. We exist to reconnect women with their intuition as a form of intelligence and self-leadership, not something mystical or exclusive. Intuition here is something you build a relationship with, strengthen over time, and trust in the moments that matter.

Through intuitive development, emotional mastery, energetic boundaries, universal principles, and telepathic animal communication, we teach women how to listen more deeply — to themselves, to others, and to the natural world. Animals are part of this work because they reflect regulation, presence, and truth without performance. They remind us what it looks like to live in alignment.

Marissa grew up as a competitive cheerleader (including competing at Worlds) and an avid soccer player. Megan played libero in volleyball, ran track (and long & triple jump), and studied saxophone and piano — movement and discipline have always been part of both our lives.

We genuinely love cold plunges and sauna work. We’ve experienced firsthand how intentional hot–cold exposure supports clarity, resilience, and nervous system regulation — and we’re always experimenting on ourselves first.
Something We Both Love
Marissa loves time with her family, football Sundays, and unplugging into the Harry Potter universe. Megan also loves time with her family, pole dancing, and getting lost in a good romantasy novel.
What brings us joy
Outside of Higher Self Studios, Marissa works as a Physician Assistant, and Megan works as a Senior Account Manager in Tech — two very different careers that ground us in the real world.
